Thank you for supporting our micro-batch desert honey. Please check back in August 2026 for next season’s availability — harvests vary year to year, and we only bottle what the bees can spare.
At Desert Druid Farms, we keep Carniolan, Buckfast, and Italian honey bees — each chosen for their temperament, resilience, and foraging ability in the desert basin.
Our apiary sits at the base of Tucson Mountain Park West, where the bees harvest nectar from dense palo verde groves and native desert blooms.
These bees don’t just make honey — they play a vital role in the local ecosystem.
Their presence supports pollination across washes, foothills, and wild corridors, and their genetics contribute to the diversity and resilience of wild bee populations in the region.
By maintaining strong, healthy colonies, we help strengthen the desert’s pollinator web — one bloom, one bee, one season at a time.
Our honey is tapped directly from the hive into each jar — raw, unfiltered, unspun, and never heated or processed. What you taste is exactly what the bees created.
Foraged from the palo verde blooms that blanket the base of Tucson Mountain Park West, this honey is naturally exceptionally sweet and high in glucose, which means it crystallizes quickly — a hallmark of true palo verde honey.
We harvest only when the hives have surplus.
Some years the desert is generous, and some years we don’t harvest at all. The bees’ pantry always comes first.
In a world where most honey is blended, imported, or cut with fillers, ours is 100% pure, single‑source, and never leaves the farm for processing.
Every jar is small‑batch, traceable, and available only in the seasons when the desert allows.
Limited and seasonal availability — once a batch sells out, it’s gone until the next bloom.
